So. It's Fall now. Boo that. Super boo to the winter soon to follow.
Swamped with schoolwork. No real surprise there, and I keep playing Guild Wars to ease my mood. I'm getting back on top of everything this week though.
Character Narrative and Storyboarding is... difficult. Not so much the material as the professor. He is really hard to read and does not seem happy with anything. When he says something 'is good' he's still got that disappointed tone in it. I -think- I'm doing alright, but the whole class antagonizes him and we don't get much done as a class. There's been no actual grading so that leaves me even more in the dark. We'll see. I'm caught up and I'll just keep chugging at it and do as much as I can.
I was also the only person in the class that wanted to tell a story that wasn't slapsticky. Soreee I wanted to do something that'll possibly have some merit after the class is over. Also only abstract character. I did it to make it easier to draw over and over as I storyboard the thing, not so much to be 'neenur neenur I'm more originaaal' though I was getting looks with an expression as though I were.
Audio class is interesting, but by god I have no idea what's going on most of the time. The rest of the class has worked with audio equipment and mixing and such before. I'm grasping it pretty good, but sometimes pieces get waxed over. It's the intro audio class, so it's annoying that everyone knows most of it. I'm also the only one in the class that doesn't play an instrument (or six).
Art is way getting shoved in the corner. I've got a few drawing, but none of them are getting close to finished. Working off-and-on on
Joslyn's head model, updating the journal entry with a few more pictures as I go.
